Holiday Inn Dijon Toison D'or, an IHG Hotel

The location is great, the tram directly outside the hotel gets you into the city in 10 minutes for 1.70€. The shopping centre next door has some good bars and restaurants, which are reasonably priced (see the negative), and of course shops (if that's your thing). It's a great location for a one or two night stopover when driving to the Alps etc.

I stopped off at the Holiday Inn Toison D'Or while driving back to the UK from Italy, and it was the perfect stopover for anyone making a similar journey. There is plenty of free parking, and the hotel is located next to a large shopping centre where there is a range of casual dining restaurants for dinner if you don't fancy the hotel (including Five Guys burgers!). It is also next to a tram stop if you want to go into town. The welcome was warm and all the reception staff appear to speak English. The hotel is a little dated (80s?) but the room was decent size and mine was very quiet. The room had all the facilities you need for a stopover. There is a gym and a pool if you have a little time on your hands. Breakfast was the usual hotel buffet, but had all you would want. If making a similar journey I would definitely stay here again - I noticed quiet a few cars with UK plates in the car park, so it looks like a lot of people have the same idea !

Kids loved the pool and had fun in the play room. Fantastic location for a relaxing vacation with a wonderful park for walks and playground for the kids across from the train station and a mall with everything you might need next door. We could easily relax and not feel like we had to go somewhere every day.

It’s not too far from the autoroute which makes it a good place to stop on a long trip. The rooms are quite large, beds are comfortable and all the staff we came across were helpful and friendly. We’ve always had a good meal in the restaurant and the breakfast is great.

The hotel is located in a spacious area with permanently accessible parking . It was not loud, considering the mall next door. Full breakfast and possibility to have dinner in the same restaurant was a privilege We enjoyed delicious escargot ! And not only...Thank-s The room was ordinary, basically we just slept . Burgundy is exciting!!! Friendly staff.
